  The Message is the Intergroup 5 newsletter. The Message is a bi-monthly publication with information, humor, stories, history, and other exciting news and information about AA in the Intergroup 5 area.

  Do you have a suggestion for an article, a story to share, a funny comment, and announcement? We would LOVE to hear from you. Please contact us at message@intergroup5.org

• 03-19-2025

  District 5 will host our Conference Delegate Lori P. for a pre-conference workshop. The workshop is our opportunity to learn about what the conference delegates will be discussing at their annual conference in New York.

  The workshop will be held at Crawfordville group on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 12-3.

• 03-05-2025 Night owl group start time changing

  The Night owl group is changing their start time to 10:00 pm effective immediately.

  Looking for a late night group? Night owl meets at Trinity United Methodist across the street from the LeRoy Collins Library.  They meet every Friday and Saturday night at 10:00 pm.

  Come check us out!

• 03-01-2025 Founders’ Day Florida Style

  The Annual Founders’ Day Florida style will be June 13-15 at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum. Registration is open!

  Come prepared for a great line up of speakers, the group basket raffle, entrance to the Automobile Museum, good food and more!

  Be sure to announce this at all meetings! Check out the Founders’ Day Florida Style website for a flyer and additional information!

• 01-08-2025 Singleness of Purpose annual Chili Cookoff is coming! – Weather update

  The cold weather is here, and that means it’s time for the annual Singleness of Purpose Chili Cookoff!

  Due to the ice & snow weather, we have moved the Chili cookoff to Tuesday, February 18 at 6:00 pm

  Join us on Tuesday February 18th at 6:00 pm for what has become a great local tradition. Everybody is invited to bring chili or a side. Or just come on by and enjoy some chili. There will be fixings and sides available.

  We will eat at 6:00, followed by a speaker. This year our speaker is Jimmy from 909! We are looking forward to hearing his awesome experience, strength, and hope.
