Pink Can for Corrections

Many thanks to the groups at CASA, Crawfordville, Central Group (909), and especially the Lloyd New Hope group for their generous contributions to the Pink Can Fund.  Your giving has enabled us to donate Big Books, 12 & 12’s, AA pamphlets, and Grapevines to our fellow members at Gadsen CI, Wakulla CI, and the Leon County Jail.  Great job at carrying the message!

We will be happy to provide one.  If anyone needs information regarding corrections meetings, wishes to participate in corrections meetings, or has Grapevines/AA books/other AA literature they wish to donate, please contact us at:

District 5 Meeting

Please let Tracy and I know of any agenda items you may have
for the Wednesday, December 21st District 5 Meeting at Faith Presbyterian
Church (3rd Wednesday of every month, 7:00 pm – small business building out
back, the main church building address is: 2200 North Meridian Road,
Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Here’s what we have for the December 2011 agenda so far:
  – Visit from Area Delegate Cecilia
  – Sponsorship Workshop Update
  – District 5′s content on Intergroup 5 Website
  – Who’s attending the next Area Assembly in January 2012 (Assembly information can be found at www.aanorthflorida.org
  – Welcome new GSR Arden
I received an email from Ken S., our North Florida Area 14 Site and Agenda
Committee Chair. It is now anticipated that we will be moving our quarterly
Area 14 Assembly meetings from St. Augustine to Lake Mary in the Orlando
area for 2013 & 2014.

The following is an email from Kitty B – Some of you may remember
Kitty…. “It’s a good day to be sober!”
A dear friend; John W. called this week to see if we can get him some good
speakers for the “Reliance House” on Sundays from 5:30 – 6:30pm. It is
located near Detox in Panama City. It is a 60 day program for those that
need it after Detox. Where were they when I got sober? Speaker needs at
least 2 years of sobriety. John W will be available via Email -
bcgrizz@hotmail.com or via Cell Phone : 850-630-3889.
So if you want to speak or know someone that would be good let him know or
let me know and we will get you there!  God’s will not mine, I know we
will help him find the right and perfect speakers. Thanks everyone for

looking for someone to bring in an AA meeting to the Vets. For more
